Before you set yourself to do the running regimen, it will benefit you a lot to do the following:

(1) you need to set your weight loss target that is specific and realizable. Your regimen will depend on your target with the premise that the faster and longer that you run, the more weight you will be able to shed off.

(2) you need to lay out your roadmap to achieve your specific target. Here, you will map how often you will do your running exercise, how fast you will run and how many miles you will go.

Of course, your running regimen will be more effective as a weight loss program when you combine this with eating nutritious and healthy food. When your body gets tired from your regimen, you may experience an increase in appetite. This is why it is important to watch the food that will go into your body as you don’t want to waste the hours of exercise just to gain pounds from eating the wrong food. Drink plenty of water as it is a natural fat burner and cleansing agent in one.
