Get Thin and Stay Thin

The trouble with most diets, especially the latest fad diets or Hollywood diets, is that they don’t work in the long term. Yes, you might lose several pounds in 30 days but then you just put the weight straight back on again. You must learn to get thin and stay thin if you want long term health.
So how can you stay thin once you lose the weight?
You need a plan of action – Almost all physical trainers and fitness gurus will tell you that to remain healthy and fit, you have to have a plan. A fitness routine that you stick to each day. A diet that you follow and stick to each day. These are the only ways you will keep the weight off.
There’s no point following a diet for 30 days, losing some weight then reverting back to your normal eating habits. If you do that then you have just wasted a month of your life. What you need is a change in lifestyle not a diet.
The problem with the word “diet” is it makes you think of a temporary situation. You usually only go on a diet for a short period of time. That’s why you almost always put the weight back on. However a change in lifestyle is a permanent thing. You are telling yourself that you will eat healthy foods everyday and exercise everyday. And you’ll do it permanently.
If you can adopt this frame of mind then you will succeed in all your weight loss goals and be a much fitter and healthy person. The next time you think about going on a diet, just remember what we have just told you.
